Mena alleges the 6-foot-6, 350-pound defensive lineman, who signed a seven-year, $100 million contract with the Redskins last year, promised to support her financially after he learned she was pregnant
National Football League player Albert Haynesworth is being sued by an exotic dancer who claims the Washington Redskins defensive lineman impregnated her and then abandoned her, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
Silvia Mena, a Brooklyn exotic dancer who, the Post reports, is nearly four months pregnant, is purportedly preparing to sue the NFL football player for $10 million, according to the Post’s “Page Six” report.
The papers, to be filed in the Brooklyn Supreme Court, say Haynesworth, 28, met Mena, 25, in Miami late last year and romanced her during Super Bowl week.
Albert dumped ex-lover after impregnated her
The papers further allege the Washington Redskins player dumped the dancer, whom the Post claims is a "Salma Hayek look-alike," after he found out about the pregnancy in late February, the Post reported.
Mena alleges the 6-foot-6, 350-pound defensive lineman, who signed a seven-year, $100 million contract with the Redskins last year, promised to support her financially after he learned she was pregnant.
But, in the papers, Mena alleges Haynesworth refused to talk to her since late March or give her any money toward her medical bills.
It’s being reported by the Post that the legal papers say Haynesworth's assistant suggested Mena "seek treatment from an NFL physician," but the dancer feared "some effort might be made to purposefully make her lose the child."
Abandoned the GF
According to the Post, Haynesworth promised to "emotionally and financially support Silvia." But, "after making such promises . . . Haynesworth has abandoned the pregnant Sylvia Mena . . . He has refused to provide any emotional or financial support of Silvia Mena or his unborn child."
Mena’s lawyer, Salvatore Strazzullo, told the Post he's filing the suit against the NFL star in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Wednesday, which will demand upwards of $10 million to help cover what would be medical costs and punitive damages.
“This man is worth millions. She has had to apply for Medicaid to take care of her pregnancy,” Strazzullo told the publication.
Mena fears to lose her baby
It’s being reported by the Post that the legal papers say Haynesworth's assistant suggested Mena "seek treatment from an NFL physician," but the dancer feared "some effort might be made to purposefully make her lose the child."
"It is very stressful. I cry all the time," Mena told the Post Tuesday night.
