Lindsay Lohan back in Los Angeles for court hearing

The 23-year-old American actress, model and pop singer-songwriter, Lindsay Lohan, arrived in Los Angeles Saturday for a court hearing on Monday.

Lindsay Lohan is back in Los Angeles from France! Well, if that no news, read on. On Monday the actress will be in court to face the judge, Marsha Revel, who issued and later recalled a warrant for her arrest. That’s news!

Lohan, who had missed a probation hearing in Beverly Hills that peeved Revel, boarded a British Airways flight and landed at the Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday at about 7 p.m.; well in time to be in the court Monday.

Cannes party over
The 'Mean Girls' actress’s lounging on a yacht in the French Riviera the day she missed court did not really go well with the judge, but the warrants were nonetheless revoked after her legal team posted bail of $100,000.

The bail amount served as a guarantee that she'll show up for the hearing next time around.

“She’s done 10 of the 13 classes that she was ordered to do, so you might say that’s not a stellar performance, but the fact is, it’s along the lines of most people in the alcohol program,” adds the attorney.

Some more news! Sources close to the once famous actress state that Lohan had been partying at the Cannes film festival for over a week. She blamed a lost passport for not being able to make it to the court last time.

Drinking habit continues
While she managed to give a slip to the paparazzi, she was spotted knocking back red wine. Not bad! The judge had passed strictures asking her to refrain from drinking any alcohol until she turns up in court.

Lohan knows that she has to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet and undergo random drug and alcohol testing. Substance abuse is what did her in 2007! She was arrested for drunken driving, reckless driving and driving under the influence of cocaine.

The alcohol education classes are part of the actress's sentence in that case.

Contrary to what meets the eye, her attorney claims, “She’s got an excellent progress report from the alcohol program.”

“She’s done 10 of the 13 classes that she was ordered to do, so you might say that’s not a stellar performance, but the fact is, it’s along the lines of most people in the alcohol program,” adds the attorney.

The attorney claims that Lohan is not very different from other wrongdoers, and is being subjected to harsher treatment because she is a celebrity.

That’s correct, but Lohan has kind of ruined a once promising career.

One of Hollywood's most talented young actresses and with films like 'Freaky Friday' an' "Bobby' to her credit, Lohan has been in the news for all wrong reasons.
