Heidi and Seal get married for the sixth time

The parents of four kids, Leni (6), Henry (4), Johan (3) and Lou (7 months), started a new tradition of marrying every year, when they tied the knot for the first time on May 10, 2005 amidst family and friends.

Supermodel, Heidi Klum and singer husband, Seal celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary this year, by re-tying the knot and repeating the vows once again, on a beach in Costa Careyes, Mexico.

The sixth walk down the aisle was special for the couple who feel that in a time when staying together has become difficult for most couples, they are lucky to be a happily married duo.

Heidi Klum says, “We love to renew our vows. It's our time -- a lovely family time. It's about remembering this moment of love we gave to each other and reinforcing it. It's so special to us, something we love and something our children have gotten accustomed to. It's like, 'Hey, Mom and Dad love each other and they get married every year!”

The Anniversary Celebrations
Unlike last year’s retro-theme, the guests were asked to dress up like brides and grooms this year.

36-year-old Heidi says that she woke up one morning and immediately knew what to do this year. She wanted to make her anniversary fun for her family and friends.

The anniversary celebration went on for the whole weekend. It started with a dinner and a Karaoke party on Friday night and after the couple re-wed on Saturday, their guests were taken to the couple’s house.

A thatched roof hut festooned with white flowers, chandeliers and candles welcomed the guests for an outdoor wedding reception.

“Each year, Heidi and I get remarried. It's a great party, but for about an hour, we go off on our own down to a private beach. We sit there with the kids and read vows to each other as the sun sets. It's a very special moment to us,” informs Seal.

Mother of four, Heidi Klum sported a bikini for the first time since her 7-month-old daughter was born last year.

She adds that it is not very easy to get back in shape very soon after delivering a child. “You don't walk out of the hospital and get right back into your 27s,” she says.

But she exercised and opted for a low carbohydrate diet, to get back in shape. She also added that even during her pregnancy she did not have many cravings or weight problems.
