Jessica Alba reveals adoption plans

Though Alba is likely to add another baby to her family sometime soon, she did not give a timeline for how quickly she plans on adopting a child, or from what country.
Following closely in the footsteps of the beautiful adoptive mothers of Hollywood, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Madonna etc is the honey-skinned sultry siren Jessica Alba who voiced her desire to add to her family through adoption.
The actress, who has 21-month-old daughter Honor Marie with husband Cash Warren, revealed her yearning to have more kids while filming an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, in which she helps rebuild a home for a Texas foster family of 15.
Jessica was totally moved by the courage displayed by Larry and Melissa Beach who were raising thirteen children which were either adopted or foster kids.
Despite the family’s house and belongings having been destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008, they refused to give up on their children and preferred living in a small trailer.
The moment of inspiration
Alba helps build the Beach family a new home since the rising medical bills following the hurricane disaster made it difficult for them to repair their home.
The extended family, which includes 9 adopted children (ages 20-1 year), many with special needs, and four biological (ages 22-8 years), are currently living in a travel trailer behind their house.
Alba confessed the time she spent with the Beach family deeply moved her. The moment inspired Jessica that she too should adopt a kid.
"I'm totally inspired. If you have the love, and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it," she says.

Jessica, a proponent of adoption
Jessica has always been vocal about wanting more kids someday. Jessica had admitted earlier that she and Cash had plans to have three to four kids together.
"We’ll have a few [kids] - three or four," she stated. Though the decision was taken way back between the couple, the TV show only worked as a catalyst to spur Alba to extend her family.

The idea of adoption is not a novel thing for Jessica who had even suggested her parents expand their family when she was younger.
“My mom grew up around a huge family, and they always wanted more kids, and I was like, 'Why don't you just adopt?'" adds Alba.
