Mariah Carey expecting a baby girl?

Besides making heads turn with her sexy appearance, Mariah seemed to make everybody guess there’s something more going on with her.
Rumors are rife that Mariah Carey is preparing to welcome a new member in her family. According to reports, either she is pregnant or preparing to adopt a child, and interestingly, the singer did not seem to counter them.
“I have a lot of new acting projects coming up. I am talking to ['Precious' director Lee Daniels] about at least three movies,” she said, “But there's also something else very special on the way. I can't say any more.”
Apart from baby rumors, Mariah Carey also grabbed attention at the 25th Film Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles, CA. The singer looked absolutely elated to be among her cast mates from the movie ‘Precious,’ which celebrated its night of victory by sweeping away five prizes on Friday night.
Carey’s ‘Precious’ wins big
The Spirit Awards, intended to honor independent filmmakers and their low budget pictures, are seen as a casual precursor to the extravagant Oscars.
‘Precious’ won five awards at the ceremony including the Best Feature, Best Director (Lee Daniels), Best First Screenplay for (Geoffrey Fletcher), Best Female Lead (Gabourey Sidibe) and Best Supporting Female (Mo'Nique).
Mariah Carey joined the cast onstage and was also seen celebrating with them backstage.
Carey’s heights of glamour
Carey flaunted her famous curves in a short, tight black dress as she posed for pictures on the red carpet. She stood tall in skyscraper heels that made it difficult for her to walk but the singer was escorted by private security through the night, which also assisted her in balancing on those incredibly high heels.
They were eight inches high, and she even hurt herself with one of those pointed heels before getting help.
“I don't do stairs,” Carey had famously said once and she seemed to prove it Friday night as she had to take help from her security men to make it to the stage. “She didn't arrive and leave through an elevator like the other stars,” said a source. “She had a BMW limo pull right up to the stage.”
