Jessica Simpson: I'm angry at John Mayer over his sex remarks

Simpson also talked about her life’s lowest point--her much-publicized "mom jeans" situation. An unflattering photo of her wearing high-waisted jeans generated headlines in January 2009 about her weight for a year.

Jessica Simpson probably has forgotten her onetime beau John Mayer, but she has not forgiven him for the comments he made about her sex skills in a recent racy Playboy magazine interview.

Simpson dated Mayer off and on for nearly two years, but she says she barely recognized the man who spoke on her sex life in a recent controversial Playboy interview.

Mayer dishes dirt about Jessica
The 29-year-old sat down with Oprah Winfrey on her daytime talk show on Wednesday (March 3) to talk candidly about the pain and humiliation she experienced after Mayer’s controversial interview with Playboy Magazine.

In an interview with Playboy last month, Mayer spilled the beans on his bedroom antics with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson. He said at the time that Simpson is “a drug” when it comes to lovemaking.

“And drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.”

He told the magazine that the “With You” songstress was "sexual napalm."

However, he later apologized for the comments he made about Simpson and another ex, Jennifer Aniston.

Jess rejected John’s apology
But the infuriated pop star, who felt dissected, discouraged, and betrayed by Mayer’s comments that she's "crazy" in bed, refused to accept his apology.

Wearing a pair of ultra-high heels and a slinky black dress, Simpson admitted to Oprah that Mayer sent her a written apology, but she refused to accept it.

"He did apologize. I don't accept it. It's just one of those things that...I don't resent him. I'm just going to let that go. That part of my life is over," the blonde beauty told Oprah.

Simpson also told the daytime show host that she tried to read Mayer’s controversial Playboy interview.

"I tried to read the article, and I was so disappointed in him," she told Oprah. "It made me so sad, and it was really discouraging because that's not the John that I knew...I hope he gets his life together."

John’s rant makes Jess little angry
About Mayer’s comments in which he called her "sexual napalm" and compared her to crack cocaine, Simpson joked: "I could have been worse."

The laughing songtress then said: "My phone is ringing off the hook."

Simpson then talked little seriously about his rant, saying: "I'm not angry. I'm -- well, I'm a little bit angry ... I'm a little bit angry," adding "I don't want people to know how I am in bed!"

Jess on her weight issue
Simpson also talked about her life’s lowest point--her much-publicized "mom jeans" situation. An unflattering photo of her wearing high-waist jeans generated headlines in January 2009 about her weight for a year.

"I can't say that I allowed myself to ignore it, because it was everywhere," she said on The Oprah Show. "The voices were sometimes in my head when I would fall asleep -- the voices of people's judgements."

"Of course it would bother any woman," she continued. "The fact that I was famous last year for gaining 10 pounds was ridiculous."

Simpson, the star of VH1's new reality show The Price of Beauty (debuting March 13), says she's happy with her shape and size now, which fluctuates between a 4 and 6.

"I love my curves," she says. "I'm not going to ever be size 0, and I don't want to weigh 90 pounds.”

"I finally relaxed and I don't care what people have to say about my weight," she adds. "I think I look great."
