Aerosmith ready to rock after Tyler joins back

Steven Tyler has reunited with Aerosmith, and the band is now ready to rock again.

After months of internal strife, Steven Tyler has reunited with Aerosmith and the band is all set for a European tour this summer.

Tyler had a recent stint in a rehab recently, and his replacement was very much on the cards.

Last year in August, Tyler fell off the stage while performing at a gig. His erratic behavior in the following months caused Aerosmith to cancel their shows, leaving the fans concerned.

Other band members thought that Tyler was sidelining Aerosmith, and his exit from the band was being foreseen. Later in December, he entered a rehab for painkiller addiction.

The band had recently looked threatened, and Aerosmith performing without frontman Steven Tyler would have been a disappointment for the fans.

Aerosmith reunited
However, much to the pleasure of their fans, Aerosmith announced on its website that they’re headed out on a European tour that will cover 11 cities starting from Sweden on June 10 and finishing up on July 3 in Venice, Italy.

“I just auditioned and I got the gig,” Tyler, 61, jokes in a new video that the band has recorded to publicize their upcoming tour. “We're coming your way and rocking your world. Look out baby – because here we come again.”

Guitarist Joe Perry, who had once intended to audition for Tyler’s replacement, seems to be happy to have him back now. “Its great to have Steven back and the band up and rolling. I never left,” he wrote in replay to a fan on Twitter.

Eventually, the music wins
“We will carry on and do what we do best,” drummer Joey Kramer said in an interview earlier this week. "The one common denominator that we still all have is that we all love to get up on stage and rock out, play music and bring joy to people.”

He acknowledged that the band saw much turmoil recently but everything else fades out gradually and eventually it is just their music that holds significance. “We let the other drama, as of late, kind of filter itself out by the wayside and concentrate on more of what's important, which is the playing and the business at hand,” said Krammer.

Aerosmith fans can gear up, as Aerosmith are coming to rock them with the ‘Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock’ European Tour.
