Lil Wayne expecting another bundle of joy? Rapper says nooo

Shannell, who has written songs for the rapper, believes the pregnancy reports come from past gossip.

Several reports from the gossip Web sites state that Lil Wayne has yet another baby on the way, this one with a singer he signed to his record label. But the Grammy-winning rapper has rubbished all those reports, insisting he hasn’t impregnated the singer, who he recruited to his Young Money imprint.

Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., already has four children, three sons and a daughter, with four different women (two in the last six months). Last year, he welcomed two children with two different women, Lauren London, and Nivea.

Now, it’s been reported that the Hip-Hop star is going to be a dad again with a different woman!

Rumors ran rampant recently that Lil Wayne is expected to become a father yet again as his new Young Money star Shannell Woodgett is pregnant by the performer.

Rapper and singer address rumors
However, both the Young Money boss and the upcoming singer Shanell (aka SNL) have denied the rumors, insisting that they are not having a child together.

Hitting back at the reports, the 27-year-old entertainer released a video clip, telling fans that he’s not expecting his fifth child with the singer and that there is no truth to the speculation, reports the Daily Star.

In the video clip posted online for fans, the rap star said: “Let me clear up this rumour, man: Shanell is not pregnant from me (sic). Shanell isn’t even pregnant! Period,” as reported by the Daily Star. “Clear that up right now, man. Everybody talking about Shanell pregnant by (me). No, she not even pregnant (sic). Period,” he stated.

Shannell feels offended
Also, Weezy's ‘Rebirth’ co-writer, and Young Money singer Shannell said she was deeply offended by the pregnancy reports.

Shannell, who has written songs for the rapper, believes the pregnancy reports come from past gossip. “Basically it came from a corny rumour that escalated. First I was dating him, then I was his girlfriend, then we were getting married, then we were settling down and now I’m pregnant,” she told MTV.com.

The singer continued: " It’s so foolish we’ve haven’t paid it any attention. All the rest of the rumors were kinda funny except that one. When my mother called me like, 'Um?,' [I was] like, 'No! Are you serious?' I don't care about the rumors, but I just want people to know that I'm not pregnant. I've got an album coming out, I'm a dancer, I'm in shape and children are not anywhere in my future."

Wayne’s serious oral surgery
Lil Wayne is scheduled to start a one-year prison sentence for gun possession on March 2. The rapper was due to be sentenced earlier this month for his much-reported illegal weapon possession crimes, but a Manhattan judge put off his sentencing until March 2, allowing the star to undergo his much-needed dental surgery.

On Feb. 16, the platinum selling star, who claims his famous jewel-encrusted teeth cost about $150,000, reportedly sat in the dental chair for more than eight hours to undergo the procedure, which included eight root canals, some works on his signature diamond grills, several replacements for his prior implanted teeth, as well as the addition of a few new implants and repairs to the rest of his teeth.
