The Vancouver Sun reported Monday that the 41-year-old actor/comedian’s cell phone and ATM card were used after Feb. 14, the date the actor was last seen.

"Electronic information leads us to believe that Andrew is still in the Vancouver area," Constable Tim Fanning of The Vancouver Police Department told RadarOnline. "We think Andrew is just lying low in Vancouver."

New evidence shows promise
In addition to the ATM and phone usage, the reported sightings of the star in Vancouver "leads us to the fact that he is still in the Vancouver area," Fanning told Radar. "We are rehashing the evidence to see if there is anything we have missed."

"We are looking to find Andrew safe and sound," he adds.

Fanning told CNN that investigators have worked ceaseless since getting the missing persons report Thursday (Feb. 18).

"There's nothing right now to believe that anything has happened to him," Fanning said Monday evening, according to CNN. "Were certainly very concerned, as his family and friends. But there's no evidence to believe that there's foul play involved at this point."

“Andrew is despondent at this point in his life,” Fanning told The Province.

“We’re hoping that he just wanted to lay low and be by himself for a little while, and that he will resurface because there’s a lot of people who are very worried right now.”

Worried friends and family
The update would certainly provide comfort to friends and family who are desperately seeking whereabouts of the suddenly disappeared star.

"I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return," the celebrity magazine’s Web site quoted Cameron as saying in a statement. "Andrew, if you’re reading this, please call me."

Cameron added, "Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I'm praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon."
