Lindsay Lohan in yet another car crash

It has been reported by TMZ that the photog who got injured in Sunday’s accident is planning to sue Lohan

Los Angeles, January 11 -- Scandal queen Lindsay Lohan's days are never drama-free. A vehicle carrying the “Mean Girls” star reportedly struck and injured a photographer in Hollywood, Sunday morning.

The drama-riddled actress’ personal life is a frequent tabloid fodder. In recent months, she made headlines for failing at everything; from her mental balance to her fashion line to her probation terms to her relationship with longtime partner Samantha Ronson.

Lohan’s yet another car crash
Popular gossip Web site TMZ reports that Lohan’s BMW struck a photographer at 12:30 a.m. in front of Hotel Cafe in Hollywood on Sunday.

The vehicle allegedly struck the photog and then sped away from the scene, the report says.

The 23-year-old singer/actress was not driving the vehicle but was inside the car at the time.

Citing the Los Angeles Police Department, ET reported that an ambulance was called out to the scene of the accident and EMTs treated the photog, injured his hand, but did not transport him anywhere.

The Insider is reporting that a police report was taken and there is now an investigation underway into the collision.

Driver is person of interest
While the actress is said to be in clear, her driver reportedly is now a person of interest in an assault with a deadly weapon investigation.

Just last week, Lohan Took to her Twitter account to share her New Year's resolution with her followers, writing: "2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!? :)"

Lilo’s past car incidents
The Sunday’s car accident adds to a string of other vehicle related incidents Lohan was involved in. In May, 2009, the starlet was in a car when it crashed into a wall outside a Hollywood hotel and in 2007 she spend months battling DUI and car chase charges.

In 2005, Lohan collided with a minivan when she made a U-turn as the van, carrying paparazzi, followed her from a Los Angeles restaurant for a photograph.

Later, in October, 2005, Lohan and a passenger received minor injuries when her convertible hit a van in West Hollywood.

Lawsuit planned
Meanwhile, it has been reported by TMZ that the photog who got injured in Sunday’s accident is planning to sue Lohan.

The photog, who believes he is "lucky to be alive," claims LiLo’s driver was wearing dark glasses while driving in a dark alley.

"Of course I'm going to sue them ... but I don't care about the money," he told TMZ.

"I want to press charges so badly ... she's going to jail," he added.
