Ivana Trump appears serene in the picture but she created a ruckus and was escorted off a New York-bound plane when she began screaming in vulgar terms for children to shut up. Trump has however, not been charged in the incident that occurred at Palm Beach International Airport
Palm Beach, Fla., December 27 -- Belligerence cost one of Palm Beach's most famous residents, Ivana Trump, dearly. The first ex-wife of billionaire Donald Trump, blasphemed children on a plane because they were running and screaming.
Ivana was forced off the flight after she became more aggravated when flight attendants on the New York-bound Delta flight 2377 plane, tried to calm her.
Continuously calling names
The 60-year-old Trump was reportedly offered another seat and headphones by the flight crew after she was not happy with her original seat.
This is when she became more “belligerent” and cantankerous. She started calling the kids “little fu…..” and calling passengers around her “f*@& you!”
"The reason she got so upset was the children, and she started screaming, “I want to go back home. She was swearing at the baby," passenger Vincent Cone, told The Post.
The plane was about to exit gate C1 when the incident occurred. The departing jet’s pilot decided to pull back to the gate and called the deputies for help, terming the rowdy traveler a “foul-mouthed and unruly passenger in seat 1C, in first class."
Incident causes delay
Initially, the Palm Beach County sheriff's Office staff, PSBO, asked Trump to exit the plane of her own accord, but she did not budge.
After several additional aborted attempts and requests, she was physically ushered out of the plane. Trump's driver picked her up at the airport soon after.
“She was so belligerent toward other passengers and crew that the plane returned to the terminal. From initial contact until Ms. Trump left the property, she was saying “f&%$ you” to all the deputies,” said Teri Barbera, the PBSO spokeswoman.
The incident led to a two-hour stoppage of the flight.
"Everyone was leaning into the aisle, trying to get a good look, saying how crazy she was, and annoyed at how she was delaying the flight," said a passenger.
Catherine Saxton, Trump’s spokesperson, did not immediately return a telephone message.
Trump was in news last week as well when she filed for divorce with her much younger, 37-year-old husband Rossano Rubicondi.
The news of the divorce comes barely after 20 months of marriage.
