In an interview last month, the "American Idol" alum spoke about how she'd like to add another child to the brood with fiancé Otunga
Los Angeles, December 23 -- New mom Jennifer Hudson is pregnant again! The Academy Award winning actress and singer, who gave birth to a baby boy four months ago, is reportedly pregnant with her second child, Star Magazine claims in an exclusive report on its Web site.
Citing a close friend of Jennifer, the website says that the actress and her fiancé David Otunga, who is the former I Love New York 2 contestant-turned-WWE star, discovered that she was pregnant on Dec. 10.
New bundle of joy coming soon
According to the friend, Jennifer and Otunga were quite surprised by the pregnancy.
"Jennifer was in total shock when she found out she was having another baby," the friend tells the magazine.
"She had wanted some space between the kids' ages. (But) she and David love kids. It's another thing for them to celebrate during the holidays."
The not-yet-confirmed pregnancy claim comes just four months after the 27-year-old ‘Dreamgirls’ Oscar-winner gave birth to son David Daniel Otunga Jr. The baby has been named David Daniel Otunga Jr in honor of his dad.
In an interview last month, the "American Idol" alum spoke about how she'd like to add another child to the brood with fiancé Otunga.
"I'd like to have at least one more, a little girl," she said in November. "I want a girl and then maybe another one. You know, one baby at a time."
Hudson, Otunga mum on wedding date
Jennifer has been engaged to Otunga, a graduate of Harvard Law School and a former reality-TV star who is currently pursuing a career as a pro wrestler. After dating for less than a year, Hudson and Otunga, better known as Punk from the VH1 reality show “I Love New York 2”, got engaged last year in September.
Otunga reportedly proposed to her with a diamond ring that was designed by Neil Lane. The couple has previously confirmed having wedding plans, but declined to publicize it.
Tragic Hudson family killings
Hudson had been keeping a low profile after the brutal murder of her mother, brother, and young nephew in Chicago last October.
Her 57-year-old mother, Darnell Hudson Donnerson, and 29-year-old brother, Jason S. Hudson, were found shot to death in their Englewood home, while Julian, the 7-year-old son of Hudson's sister Julia, was found murdered inside a vehicle elsewhere in the city. Chicago police at the time nabbed Julia's estranged husband, William Balfour, as a suspect in Hudson family killings.
