New York, December 19 -- As the recent Tiger Woods drama unfolds, reports of his wife’s divorce proceedings, his mother’s disappointments, and his own plans to have an image make-over have been surfacing.
Woods is being seen by some as a sexual maniac, who used his family to maintain a squeaky clean image. Others maintain that this is nothing new, and extra-marital affairs are the norm; the question is who gets caught and who does not.
Mother’s support and disappointments
Amid all the gossips doing the rounds, Tiger Woods’ mother is extremely disappointed with her son, and worried about his future. According to a celebrity website, Kultida Woods is “hurt, angry and disappointed in Tiger. She wants to know how he could do this to his family.”
It is not difficult to imagine her ordeal, seeing her son in such a mess, knowing that he followed his father’s footsteps in his appetite for women. She is known to be fond of Tiger’s disgruntled wife, former Swedish supermodel Elin Nordegren, and even more worried about her grand children, whom she adores.
According to a source, “She loves him and will support him through anything, but she needs some time to work through this. It was devastating to her. She likes Elin, and adores her grandchildren. She’s worried about them. She doesn’t want to see them hurt.”

It has been known that Woods plans to vanish in his 135-foot yacht “Privacy”, and that is exactly what he needs. According to a source close to him, “He needs to clear his head for a while. He needs to process everything.”
Apart from that, even though Elin’s resolve on getting a divorce from him seems strong, Woods has been calling her incessantly to ask her forgiveness, and make her change her mind.

Brian H. Greenspan, Galea’s lawyer, has said, “Any suggestion of any linkage to Tiger Woods is nonexistent.”
Meanwhile, Elin is revising the prenuptial agreement that they had, and since Tiger’s worth just climbed a billion dollars recently, this could be the most expensive divorce in sports history ever.
