Hailey says her life has become a nightmare since she fell in love with Jon
Los Angeles, October 30 -- In the latest twist to the seemingly endless Jon and Kate Gosselin saga, the octodad’s new girlfriend Hailey Glassman says the former "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" star throws temper fits and sometimes takes his anger out on her.
Hailey is the daughter of Jon Gosselin’s estranged wife Kate’s doctor Lawrence Glassman, who performed some post-sextuplet plastic surgery on her.
Hailey openly showed off her love for Jon, the 32-year-old dad of eight, in August, less than three weeks after the estranged couple’s separation was announced. She called Jon her "first love" at the time.
Hailey: Jon is mean
Now, the 22-year-old tells "Inside Edition" her reality star squeeze, Jon, is mean to her and takes out his frustrations on her.
“He’ll call me and take his anger out on me,” Hailey says in a two-part interview airing on "The Insider" beginning today. “He has ‘mantrums.’ I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused. I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’”
She also admits Jon sometimes has trouble with the truth. “He will dance and dance around his lies. He’s like Jekyll and Hyde. But I still love him… but I dislike him at times,” she says.
Hailey says her life has become a nightmare since she fell in love with Jon.
"People judge me before they meet me. I get threats every day. I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse every day."
Still can’t dump Jon
Hailey says she can’t dump Jon, because she “don't want to leave him all alone."
"At the end of the day, I love him but I dislike him at times. When I love someone I would never hurt them," she adds.
Meanwhile, Gosselin has said in a statement that he regretted "any pain that my actions have caused her" and that he was committed to making things right with Glassman.
Gosselin Saga
Jon and Kate, the parents of eight children -- 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets -- are currently in the midst of their highly publicized divorce battle.
The couple appeared together along with their brood in TLC's most-watched series, “Jon & Kate Plus 8” until Sept. 29 when U.S. cabler TLC officially announced they were ditching Jon and turning their focus more on Kate and her journey as a single mother of eight.
Earlier this month, TLC confirmed that the weekly series “Jon & Kate Plus 8” would be renamed “Kate Plus Eight,’’ with a reduced involvement by Jon Gosselin.
