'Hills' star Stephanie Pratt arrested for DUI, released on bail

Los Angeles, October 19 -- Stephanie Pratt, star of MTV reality show The Hills, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), according to multiple tabloid reports.
Pratt was arrested early Sunday morning at around 3:45 a.m. outside a party in Hollywood, the reports from TMZ, AP and People have claimed citing Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officials.
The 23-year-old reality television starlet was booked into a jail in the San Fernando Valley on suspicion of driving under the influence and was released several hours later after posting $5000 bail, the reports say.
"It was your basic DUI. Our traffic officers driving down the street spotted her and pulled her over," Sgt. Sal Ogaz tells People. "She was cooperative and there were no issues with her arrest."
According to the magazine, police records show Pratt was nabbed early Sunday morning at 3:45 a.m. outside a nightclub in Los Angeles, charged with a misdemeanor, and was transferred to the Van Nuys jail for booking.
According to Sergeant Mark Cohan of the Los Angeles Police Department, Pratt was released around 10:30 a.m. after posting $5000 bail.

On Saturday night, Pratt was reportedly out with some fellow "Hills" stars at Empire, an L.A. nightclub, celebrating Holly Montag's 26th birthday.
Before heading for the birthday party, the starlet Tweeted: "its my sissy @hollymontags bday party! just finished dinner and going to Empire but im pretty tired aka yes i am the party pooper :("
An E! Online report says Pratt and Holly left the club at 2 a.m. and headed for Beso, where they stayed another hour before driving back home.
Earlier in the evening on Saturday, Pratt had told E! News that she was focused on safe driving after the tragic death of her friend in a road accident.
“I got bad news this morning. A friend passed away in a car accident, so everyone needs to drive safe,” she said at the time.
