Unlicensed paparazzo rear-ends Nicole Richie, Arrested

The accident occurred at the 9400 block of Wilshire Blvd. and Cannon Dr. in Beverly Hills.

Richie injured in pap car crash
U.S. reality television personality and jewelry designer Richie was driving with an adult male passenger when two photographers who were tailing her vehicle struck the back end of her car, the Beverly Hills Police Department told People magazine.

"Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2 p.m. when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her," Lt. Tony Lee of the Beverly Hills Police told People. "She complained of pain and her passenger is transporting her to a local hospital. Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene."

The 28-year-old mother of two complained of pain at the scene but denied to go to the E.R., instead she told police officials she will see her own private doctors, TMZ reports.

Lt. Lee told People: "She told officers she was going to seek her own medical treatment.

Fortunately neither of Nicole’s children- Harlow, 21 months; and Sparrow, 1 month- were with her in the car during the incident.

Paparazzi arrested
The paparazzi that hit Richie’s car was arrested by police for driving without a license. Lt. Lee told People that the paparazzo is being arrested and booked because "officers could not verify his identification."

He said: "He's being physically brought into the station. This will likely be a misdemeanor traffic violation, and the photographer's vehicle will be towed."

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com has revealed the name of the photographer who hit Richie's car in Beverly Hills on Monday.

According to Radar, Eduardo Arrivabene, the 28 year old father of two from Burbank, CA, is the paparazzi that dinged the former “Simple Life” star’s car.

A source tells the Website Arrivabene tried to accuse his friend of causing the accident, pretending that he was not driving at the time of the crash. The photog also claimed that he had dropped his camera on the floor and was trying to retrieve it at the time of the accident.
