Newlywed Christina Milian expecting "Dream" baby

The "Dip It Low" singer Christina and the Grammy-nominated hip-hop music producer The-Dream began dating in early 2009, and soon became engaged.

They confirmed their engagement in June of this year, while they were working on Milian's next album called "Elope", which is scheduled for a late 2009 or early 2010 release.

The duo stunned fans and their family by secretly marrying in Vegas last month. The 28-year-old Christina and The Dream, whose real name is Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash, exchanged the vows on Sept. 4 at the Little White Wedding Chapel, which is famous for its Drive-Thru Tunnel, the report claims.

“Dream” baby for Christina
Just one month after marrying The Dream, writer of hits like Rihanna's "Umbrella", Christina admitted she is expecting her first child with husband.

The newly-married singer told People she is four and a half months pregnant with her first child, meaning her due date would be around the beginning of March, 2010.

She told magazine’s Web site: "My husband and I are expecting. We're about four-and-a-half months along, about 19 weeks. We're really excited."

Besides the pregnancy confirmation, Christina acknowledged she has found out the sex of the baby, but won’t make it public.

Couple’s desire to start a family
Soon after their engagement was made public, the couple expressed their desire to star a family soon.

Talking about having children, Christina said: “Of course, I would love to have kids. I think that's some of the reasons why I do movies like this.”

Even The Dream said: "I love kids, and Christina loves kids probably more than I do.

"I think when you're a female in this business, it's kind of hard to do the natural thing that you want to do. You have to do your work - then whenever she makes that time for herself, she'll make that time to have a baby. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."

The singer, better known by her stage name Christina Milian, initially wanted to be an actress. She also had a minor role in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and starred as the lead role in the straight-to-DVD film Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.

Before starting dating The dream, Christina was romantically linked to Nick Cannon. After being together for two and a half years, she ended her relationship with the actor in 2005 after she found out he was cheating on her.

Christina was also romantically involved with Andre Lyon from the production group Cool & Dre. The pair dated until February 2009, when they decided to go their separate ways.
