Lohan break-in
Lohan's rented Hollywood Hills home was ransacked for the second time on Aug. 23. TMZ had reported at that time the troubled actress-singer's home was raided by three burglars, while Lohan and her younger sister Ali Lohan were out. Lohan found her house burglarized upon returning to home that morning. She found a door off its hinges and her safe ripped out of the wall.
Before this, on May 12, intruders had tried breaking into Lohan’s house. The suspects captured on surveillance video were unsuccessful at that time. It is believed the burglars were frightened off by the alarm.
Audrina break-in
Audrina Patridge, a star of MTV's show "The Hills," had her Hollywood home burglarized on February 22- the same night of the 2008 Oscars.
Both ladies released surveillance footage of the break-ins. Lohan's footage showed three people breaking in her house, while Patridge's security camera captured a man and a woman.
