“Office” star John Krasinski gets engaged to “Prada” girl Emily

Los Angeles, August 29:“The Office” star John Krasinski is all set to walk down the aisle in reel life as well as in real life. John is engaged to his girlfriend of almost a year, “The Devil Wears Prada” star Emily Blunt, a rep for the actor confirmed to People on Friday.
John, 29, and Emily, 26, have been dating since November of last year. The two are now engaged and are planning to become husband and wife very soon.

The low-profile couple has confirmed the news through their rep.
“We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged,” the rep for the “Office” star told People.
No details yet on when and where the nuptials will take place.
John and Emily have been in romantic relationship since November 2008, kept their romance under wraps. They arrived at the 2009 SAG Awards in January separately and even enjoyed low-key dates in Los Angeles, including a double date with Emily’s The Devil Wears Prada costar Anne Hathaway and her beau Adam Shulman, according to the magazine.
In August 2007, when Glamour asked John what he looks for in his life partner, he said: "It's not about celebrity or not," according to People. "It's all about, do you have that 'girl in a cardigan' in you. You gotta have that."
Last year, he told People that he looks for a good sense of humor in a woman. "Being able to laugh with someone is one of the best feelings," he told the magazine at the time.
