Elizabeth Taylor, the 77-year-old screen legend is heart broken after Mikey's sudden demise but denies hospitalization due to grief
Los Angeles, July 19: Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor has acknowledged that she is still grieving the death of her very dear friend, Michael Jackson, but denied tabloid rumors that she was hospitalized by grief.

Last week on her Twitter account, Taylor announced that she would go to hospital and get herself tested, as she was in middle of some medical tests.
But the tabloid reports claimed that the 77-year-old screen legend is so heart broken after the sudden death of “King of Pop” that she was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Monday afternoon.
But, her publicist denied the tabloid rumors, saying Taylor’s recent hospital visit was not related to the tragic death of Michael, instead she was taken to the hospital for a “minor, though painful, surgical procedure”.
“She is in for standard tests and a minor, though painful, surgical procedure. That’s it. No drama, no shrieking, no sedation required. Nobody on her staff is worried. Period,” the publicist said.
Taylor is now out of the hospital and has expressed her sadness about Jackson’s sudden demise on June 25 via her account on Twitter.
“I’m home from the hospital sore, but intact. Of course I’m still grieving for Michael … I always will. But as I said before I went into the hospital, ‘I am a survivor,” Taylor said via Twitter on Friday.
"I've had many tragedies in my life, but I guess they have all taught me something. I have to look at it that way," she further tweeted.
