DeGeneres and Australian actress de Rossi, who married in August, 2008 when same-sex marriages in California were briefly legalized, have topped the poll, which asked American moms and dads which celebrities they would feel most comfortable leaving their kids with.
More than 10,000 moms participated in the poll carried out on AOL's parenting site ParentDish.com between April 23 and May 5, and chose the openly lesbian couple as their most trusted celebrity babysitter.
DeGeneres and de Rossi, who have no children, won the poll after beating out Hollywood’s hottest couple Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, who have a brood of six children, which consists of three adopted kids- Maddox, Pax and Zahar -and the rest three her biological kids- daughter Shiloh Nouvel, son Knox Leon and his twin sister Vivienne Marcheline.
The same-sex couple topped the poll after taking 31 percent of votes. Second in the poll was Jennifer Aniston with 22 percent of votes, followed by Rachel Ray with 20 percent.
Known in the media as "Brangelina", Jolie and Pitt got 18 percent, while Oprah Winfrey got only 9 percent.
The Best Celebrity Mom Category
In the best celebrity mom category, the winner was former "Alias" star and mom of two Jennifer Garner. She grabbed the top spot in the list of five best celebrity mothers with 37 percent of votes, followed by Michelle Obama and Reese Witherspoon who shared the second place with 26 percent votes. Jolie again failed to win much fans as mom and get only 4 percent.
The Worst Celebrity Mom Category
The winner of the worst celebrity mother went to Courtney Love, the rock-star widow of grunge musician Kurt Cobain, who received 32 percent of votes.
