Miley Cyrus’ heart problem

Los Angeles, March 11: Miley Cyrus has a lot going on with her heart. While the world knows she once lost it to Nick Jonas (and nobody’s sure if she’s got it back yet), Cyrus recently disclosed that she suffers tachycardia, a medical condition in which there is rapid acceleration of heart rate.

"The type of tachycardia I have isn't dangerous," Cyrus recently said in an interview with MTV Online. "It won't hurt me, but it does bother me."

Tachycardia is a condition in which the heart beats faster than normal. While for Miley, Nick Jonas can definitely be one causative factor, it is usually triggered by a variety of factors, such as low blood pressure, the use of stimulants, and stress. Don’t fret fans, tachycardia is not fatal.

But it does bother the teen-queen a lot. “There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart,” said the 16-year-old ‘Hannah Montana’ star.

In her recently released autobiography ‘Miles to Go’, Cyrus reveals a lot about her personal life, probably a lot more than you’d like to know.

Cyrus insists she grew up like an average girl, who had to face bullies in school and deal with a sad split from her “Prince Charming”. She admits it was tough to re-live all those gloomy days while writing her memoir.

"I would say that it was hard, but it was also the best thing I ever did and the best thing I will ever do because I think it's a good thing that you get, like, a flashback and really remember all those moments," she told MTV News at a Los Angeles book signing.

"I think it's important not to grow up so much that you forget about your heart and what's important for your heart."

Cyrus claims that it was important for her to disclose all her troubles in the book so that people know that despite all that fame and eminence at a young age, things were not always as rosy as they might seem.
