Khloe Kardashian denies partying with Chris Brown

Los Angeles, March 2: Several media reports were doing the rounds over the Internet claiming that troubled R&B singer Chris Brown was partying with Khloe Kardashian and Reggie Bush on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Gansevoort Hotel's posh rooftop lounge, Plunge.

But, the reality TV starlet has abruptly shot down all those rumors, saying that reports suggesting she, Chris and football star Bush had been out partying together are simply false.

Writing in a blog post on her website, Khloe, who is the youngest daughter of the late attorney Robert Kardashian, said she doesn’t even know Chris Brown.

The “Celebrity Apprentice” star wrote: "So I woke up this morning to a ridiculous amount of missed calls and news EVERYWHERE that I had been spotted out and about in Miami with Chris Brown. The funny part about this alleged 'news' is that I've never even met Chris Brown!"

“It’s so silly how rumors get started,” Khloe continued. “Just wanted to clear that up — I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!”

Last week, People quoted an unnamed source as saying that "Chris Brown was hanging with the group after stepping out of a car with cutie Khloe Kardashian."

"Then he hung with the group and had a great time enjoying his friends poolside at Plunge, the romantic rooftop bar area of Ganesvoort South," the source added.

A source close to Khloe now explains to People why this confusion was created. "Reggie's best friend looks just like Chris Brown," according to the source. "They were all at the Gansevoort, but it wasn't Chris."

Though Khloe denied Brown was partying with her entourage at the Gansevoort South Hotel in Miami's South Beach on Saturday night, the singer was spotted over the weekend riding a Jet Ski in the area.

Several paparazzi photos of Brown on a jet-ski, reportedly taken over the weekend, surfaced on the internet.

Brown, currently, is under radar for allegedly causing physical injury to his longtime girlfriend, Rihanna, following an argument that the couple had just before the Feb. 8 Grammy Awards show.

Since the incidence, Chris and Rihanna both vanished from the public and media eye. Last week, Rihanna was spotted basking under the Mexican sun, while Chris was photographed riding the Jet Ski in Miami.

The word is that the couple are cozying up again, and are staying together at a Star Island, Miami Beach home owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

"Chris continues to be reflective, spending time with Rihanna, staying close to home and working on his music," People quoted a source as saying.
