Florida, United states, January 6: Squashing the recent rumors of their split, Lindsay Lohan said that she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson are still together.

Reports of a break-up over the New Year’s holiday had been circulating and Lindsay finally took to her favorite MySpace Celebrity blog to proclaim the status of her relationship with DJ Ronson.

A squabble between the couple was reported at a Miami nightclub on Tuesday night. "Both their families were there, and Lindsay and Sam just started going at it," said a witness.

It got aggravated on New Year's Eve, when the couple went nuclear and started screaming at each other while hosting a party at Mansion. The fight spilled out into an alley behind the club, where Lohan yelled at Ronson, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"

Crashing sounds and loud screams were heard from their room, after they went back to the hotel. At about 11 a.m. the fight spilled out into the hallways, sources said.

"They were punching each other — it was bad," a spy was reported as saying. "And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary."

According to the reports, the hotel’s security soon rushed to take photos of the girls’ room, which was turned upside down. “Mirrors were broken and it was a complete mess,” a source said.

Reportedly, the tiff continued at the airport as the women boarded a flight home.

A confirmation stamp on the story was placed by Lohan’s rep, who said the girls were engaged in a scuffle. “There was an argument - I don’t know the details - but they left for LA together and it’s fine,” the rep told.

Following the detailed picture of the troubles in her gay relationship, Lohan, 22, came out to rebuff the rumors through a blog post.

Under a post titled ‘RUMORS,’ the actress wrote, "Little piece of TRUE information: We did NOT break up!"

Also, she had a message for the media outlets, which reported the break-up. "Get your stories straight please,” she wrote, “it's really annoying to have all of your friends emailing you saying, i saw, i read, etc... NOT TRUE."
