Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony to split? No, says the hubby

Los Angeles, December18: The rumor has it – Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are on the verge of a split.

Lopez was seen at the premiere of ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ without her husband, sans her 8-carat engagement ring, wedding band. Reports suggest that Marc Anthony was also spotted just one week before the premiere without his wedding band.

Us magazine reported that the couple had a “tense” thanksgiving and Anthony was later seen "with his hand on a woman's thigh and overheard complaining about his wife to a group of women."

On the other hand, Jennifer is reportedly unhappy just being a "Long Island housewife" and blames Anthony for the failure of her career as a box-office star.

What happened to the vows that were renewed in October after the couple welcomed twins Max and Emme earlier this year?

Well, they are still intact, claims Anthony, who squashed the rumors of any tiff between him and Lopez.

"They are doing great," said Blanca Lasalle, Anthony’s rep. "Any comments implying that they are having problems and that Marc behaved in a questionable manner while out with friends last week are absolutely false."

As for the circulating rumors, she said, “These] are fabricated stories. They are together. He had a boys night out. She had a girls night out. There is nothing wrong with that."

Supporting the fact behind these claims was a romantic date; the couple was spotted dinning at Andrew Hewitt's new Pacific-Rim-inspired Beverly Hills restaurant, Luau. on Tuesday. They looked very much in love as they fed one another Kobe meatballs and enjoyed tamarind-glazed ribs, as well as each other's company.

They married back in 2004.
