Jennifer Aniston and Gerald Butler hook up in reel-life

California, December 10:The rumor about Jennifer Aniston and Gerald Butler’s dates have appeared to be true, but that does not make them the newest Hollywood couple. Apparently, the much talked about date was entirely about business.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerald Butler have recently been seen together but it is because they may be teaming up for a comedy flick under Columbia Pictures.

Gossip of Aniston and Butler hooking up in real life circulated a few months back, Butler had denied it. In an interview during the Toronto Film Festival, the Scottish actor said, "absolutely nothing is going on" between him and Aniston.

The movie that plans to team the stars, revolves around a bounty hunter played by Butler, as he tracks down his latest target who is a fugitive, who had skipped bail. Things gets interesting when he finds out that the person he is hunting is none other than his ex-wife, played by Aniston.

Aniston recently sat down for an interview with USA Today, where she said, she would like to play wise in terms of her movie career.

The actress commented on the bounty hunter movie saying, "It's good. It's not definite yet."

Sarah Thorp, known for her work in the Ashley Judd starrer “Twisted,” has written the script for the movie.

The bounty hunter comedy is to be directed by Andy Tennant, who directed the hit movie “Hitch.” His most recent work is the movie starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson titled “Fool’s Gold.” Tennant is also slated to direct another movie titled “Chasing Harry Winston”.

Shooting of the movie is scheduled for May next year.

Recently, Jennifer Aniston has starred in the movie “Marley & Me”, which will open on Christmas Day. Her three other movies are up for release soon, which are "He's Just Not That Into You," "Traveling" and her home production "Management."

Gerald Butler on the other hand is acclaimed for portraying Leonidas in the movie “300.” His most recent movies are “RocknRolla” and “Nim’s Island.” He will also be seen in the upcoming thriller “Game” and in a romantic comedy flick “The Ugly Truth” with Katherine Heigl.
