New York, December 4: Having tough time, shopping amongst the frenzied crowd in the retail stores? Now breathe easy, as Amazon.com has launched a new iPhone app on Wednesday to get you shopping simply with the tip of your thumb.
The application lets you browse Amazon and shop on it directly through your iPhone. The application is designed to work on the iPhone and iPod touch, and is available free to download from the App store.
This new iPhone app not only lets you browse the Amazon products but the products from other associated retailers too. You can even buy Macy’s and Target products here. Also, check out the full customer reviews before you crack your deal.
This is not all; the best part of the app is its “Amazon Remembers” feature, which lets you click a picture of the product from your iPhone camera that you may like to buy later. Advancing it further, the “Amazon Mechanical Turk program” would provide you every link that relates to the picture you clicked and show you the way to buy it in the Amazon store.
Shopping through Amazon iPhone app ensures every bit to make you strike the best transaction, giving you the satisfaction like an in-store shopping. Spot the products, analyze with customer reviews and then, if satisfied, make an instant purchase with “1-click shopping” or simply save it in the wish list until you find a better option.
Since the application is designed for iPhones, it has been made sure that it is user friendly. Unlike basic iPhone browsing, browsing with app provides better-integrated search and even better layout of the search pages.
However, this application may not serve good for the music lovers, who browse Amazon for its Amazon MP3 store. Apparently because MP3’s on Amazon are much lower in prices than in the Apple’s iTune store.
Except this little disappointment, for everything else, Amazon iPhone app is going to rock this holiday season and the iPhone era.
