The 39-year-old actress and her 43-year-old boyfriend Tupper are expecting their first child together, said the rep adding that the couple are “thrilled" with the baby news.

This would be the second child for Anne, who is already mom to 6-1/2-year-old son Homer Laffoon with ex-husband Coley Laffoon. No details have yet available on how far along is the pregnancy of Anne.

Anne, who is probably most famous as the former lover of comedian Ellen DeGeneres, met Tupper while working together on the set of their ABC show "Men in Trees."

Both were still married to other people when they met in 2006 on the now-defunct series Men in Trees.

Anne married film cameraman Coley Laffoon in September of 2001. Their son, Homer Heche Laffoon, was born in March of 2002. She filed for divorce from her hubby of more than five years Laffoon in February 2007.

Shortly after announcing her split from Laffoon, the two stepped out publicly. "We're so much more comfortable now that our feelings are exposed and everybody knows about them," Anne told Extra last year.

"In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way," Tupper told the Vancouver Sun last year. "I think we both made decisions that were based on the relationships we were in."

When asked last year whether she'll expand her family, Anne told Extra, "Gotta leave it open, ya know what I'm saying?"

Born in the small town of Aurora, OH, on May 25, 1969, first became famous by playing the dual roles of "Vicky Hudson" and "Marley Love Hudson" on the American soap opera Another World from 1987 to 1991, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award.

She has starred in a number of high-profile films, including Donnie Brasco, Volcano, Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights, and Psycho. She was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the 2004 Broadway revival of Twentieth Century, and also appeared in the play Proof.

Anne is also known for her relationship with comedienne Ellen DeGeneres and the events following their breakup. The couple started dating in 1997 and became the most famous lesbian couple. They split up in August 2000.
