Hollywood movie actress Winona Ryder has landed herself in a hot soup after a Bulgari diamond-encrusted bracelet and ring loaned to her for an awards ceremony mysteriously went missing.
The jewels worth more than $125,000 were given to Winona to wear in a Marie Claire magazine party in Spain. Besides the jewelry, the 37-year-old actress was also given a dress, shoes and some other stuff to wear to the event on Sunday, November 23.
According to reports, the hugely expensive borrowed Bulgari diamonds went missing after Winona, who has been in the news before for alleged shoplifting, left them with her hotel's front desk for safe keeping.
Contrary to this, some local tabloids report that Winona’s claims that she went to the front desk at the hotel and gave the jewelry to the front desk are bogus as there is no security camera footage showing her handing over the ornaments.
According a TMZ report, the bracelet and ring did not go missing after the actress surrendered them instead the gems were allegedly stolen from Winona's hotel room, soon after she left early in the morning.
Buzz is that Bulgari executives have asked Madrid police to investigate the disappearance of pricey stuff.
