October 23: The much-awaited album of Guns n’ Roses with the name “Chinese Democracy” will finally be released on November 23 in Best Buy stores.

After 14 years the gossip of the release of a new Guns N’ Roses CD will finally come true. Geffen Records, a Richfield-based retail chain and the label that carries Guns N’ Roses has reported that they entered into an exclusive contract with Best Buy. New albums are usually released on a Tuesday but Axl Rose, the only original member of Guns N’ Roses left on the group, said that he was going to release the anticipated album on November 23, a Sunday. The album contains 14 tracks with the title track being "Chinese Democracy". According to Billboard, the album opens with a "blood-curdling Axl Rose scream" which fans have sure been missing. Only three of the tracks on the album have never been heard, either from a live or an online broadcast. The title track and "Better" have been heard for some years now, either live or through an online leak. “Shackler’s Revenge” is featured on the video game Rock Band 2. “If the World” can be heard at the end of the movie “Body of Lies”. Pre-orders are already made available for the “Chinese Democracy” album on Best Buy’s website. To make things even better for the fans, a record from the album is featured on the website as they make their orders. The last Guns N’ Roses album was released in 1993, the same time when their front man Rose revamped the band’s lineup and missed their set release dates.
