Hackers Exposed Controversial Privacy of Sarah Palin

Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is furious after a hacker invaded and exposed contents of her personal mail account '[email protected]'. Since the revelation Palin is facing controversial assault for using her personal mail account for government business matters instead of her official account. This of course is a backfire on Palin if she intended to duck Alaska's open government law.

Sarah Palin’s email account was hacked by a person around 4am on Tuesday and thereafter the new password ("popcorn") designated by hacker, was posted on chat board 4Chan as an anonymous poster known as /b/. The personality claiming to be the master mind behind this scandal gave his account of how and why he invaded into the Governor’s mail account. The hacker posted several e-mails shots, Palin's e-mail contact list, family photographs, index of mails in her inbox, her husband and son’s e-mail addresses etc on site named Wikileaks.org on Wednesday. Palin’s daughter’s cell phone number was recovered from her hacked mail account and the daughter’s voicemail message was recorded and posted for fun on website.

From the display forum one of the viewers changed the password and informed Palin's aide, Ivy Frye about the new pwd via e-mail and accidentally released it on screenshots on the forum also. This led to mass traffic flowing towards the account triggering Yahoo's security lockdown, causing freezing up and deactivation of the account. Mystery still remains that how come by Wednesday morning, both of Sarah’s private mail accounts were deleted when only one had been hacked and other was safe. Or, was it a planned move to escape the sword of by demand disclosure on other private account for further investigation.

Some mails released for mass display in detail were- An email to Sean Parnell, Lt. Gov. regarding his congress crusade, an email from McCorkell giving Palin moral strength to overlook the press nuisance, e-mail captioned "Motor Fuel Tax Suspension" from Meghan Stapleton, press secretary and a mail from Nizich captioned "CONFIDENTIAL Ethics Matter."
Palin’s exposed mail to Alaska’s public safety commissioner, Walter Monegan, pressurizing him to take strict action against her brother-in-law regarding a divorce case against Palin’s sister struck Palin with yet another controversial storm.

Questions are also being raised at Palin’s competence to guard the national security information, when given the responsibility. Another personal account of Palin named [email protected] is put under question to expose further details.

The matter has been reported for investigation to FBI who is coordinating with United States Secret Service to reach at the depth of the matter and trap the culprit. All said and done the hacker and Palin herself stand in the quilt box for violating laws.
