" title="" catwoman" berry confirms pregnancy"/> Hollywood actress Halle Berry confirmed Tuesday that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. In an e-mail to celebrity TV show Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell, the 39 year old star revealed that she is three months pregnant with Aubry’s baby. “Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!” she wrote in the online mail to Nancy. “Can’t wait to see you and give you a squeeze and see a pic of your little sweetie. Until then, you heard it from ME first!” Hours after Berry’s declaration of pregnancy, reports started popping out, saying that Aubry-Berry's baby had halted production on the set of the upcoming Lionsgate film 'Tulia', in which Berry was set to star. According to Celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, producers of the new film, "Tulia," which is based on the drug and racial profiling scandal in Tulia, Texas, have postponed production of the movie, and also scrapped plans to start filming in October due to actress's pregnancy. To be directed by John Singleton and also starred Billy Bob Thornton, the film was scheduled for a 2008 release. Born to an African-American father and white mother in Cleveland, Ohio, Halle Berry is the Hollywood star and Oscar-winning actress. She came into limelight at the age of 17 when she became winner of the Miss Teen All-American Pageant, and subsequently became a model. The "X-Men" and "Perfect Stranger" beauty went from the world of beauty pageants in the mid-1980s to a television series, “Living Dolls” in 1989. Two years later she began performing in feature films, including Spike Lee's “Jungle Fever”. Berry’s combination of talent, tenacity, and beauty has made her one of Hollywood's busiest actors. She bagged an Oscar on 24 March 2002 for her starring role in the drama Monster's Ball, making her the first African-American ever to win an Oscar as best actress. Berry has been married twice. She was first married to Atlanta Braves baseball star David Justice from 1992 to 1996, and then to R&B musician Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005. Berry is currently dating with her two years of boyfriend, French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. The Hollywood star and Oscar-winning actress Berry met Aubry, who is nine years her junior, in 2005 when they were shooting an ad for Versace. |
