Los Angeles -- MADtv, the U.S. sketch-comedy television program, is bolstering its environmentally friendly approach to its Emmy lobbying effort this year.

MADtv launches VoteMadTV.comGet original file (4KB)

For the second year, rather than send out thousands of DVDs promoting the Fox show to Academy of Television Arts & Sciences members, MADtv will put its episode clips on VoteMadTV.com for Emmy voters to view, the Fox program said in a news release Wednesday.

And for the first time, MADtv will make a donation to the National Resources Defense Council, a non-partisan environmental and advocacy group.

Monday's Web site launching coincides with the availability of Emmy nominations ballots.
