The Danville, Ill. native pleaded guilty to possessing drugs, driving under the influence, and not having a valid Illinois firearm owner's identification card Monday in Vermilion County (Ill.) Superior Court.

The Champaign News-Gazette said the 32-year-old Clark accepted a plea agreement under which misdemeanor counts of driving with a suspended license and possession of cannabis were dismissed.

The charges stem from a September 2005 traffic stop by Danville police. State's Attorney Frank Young said Clark's sentencing is scheduled for July 11.

Danville police Officer Jane McFadden has testified that inside a local restaurant, Clark tripped over a mop bucket, his speech was slurred, he looked disheveled, and she thought he was under the influence.

Later, she discovered that his drivers license was suspended.
