Abromaitis collected eight rebounds, Carleton Scott scored 23 points and Eric Atkins contributed 12 points and seven boards for the Fighting Irish (9-1).

Mangisto Arop's 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining pulled Gonzaga to within two at 79-77. But Hansbrough responded with a pair of foul shots and repeated the feat after Marquise Carter's layup with 6 seconds left made it two-point game again.

Elias Harris led the Bulldogs (4-5) with 19 points and Steven Gray added 18 points and eight assists.
