Sterger mulls taking Favre evidence public

New York -- Former New York Jets sideline host Jenn Sterger may make her alleged harassment evidence against quarterback Brett Favre public, her manager said Tuesday.

Amid reports that the NFL won't sanction Favre for allegedly sending sexually explicit cellphone photos to Sterger two years ago, her manager, Phil Reese, told TMZ.com Sterger is willing to release "extensive evidence that irrefutably proves there was harassment" if the league won't sanction Favre.

"No matter what happens, Jenn has all legal remedies, including going public ... if the NFL doesn't clear her name," Reese told the Web site.

Reese's comments came after Sports Illustrated reported NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell likely won't suspend or sanction the Minnesota Vikings signal-caller in connection with the alleged lewd photos, which the magazine speculated can't be conclusively proven to be of Favre.

Sterger's supporters contend, however, they have more evidence than just the photos that have already come out, TMZ.com reported.
Reese told the SportsBusiness Journal Tuesday the NFL isn't returning calls placed by Sterger's representatives.

Goodell is reportedly aiming to wrap up the investigation before the end of the season.
