Plain White T's plan concert tour

Burbank, Calif. -- Plain White T's will appear in Milwaukee next month to initiate a North American headlining tour, the band's label announced.

The main opener on the dates will be Parachute, Hollywood Records said in a news release Tuesday.

Plain White T's introduced their new album "Wonders of the Younger" with the lead single "Rhythm of Love," a Top 10 hit, which has already sold more than 300,000 digital copies. The T's have performed the song on "Good Morning America" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and its companion video is currently playing on MTV and YouTube.

Plain White T's front man Tom Higgenson describes the Ian Kirkpatrick-produced "Wonders of the Younger" as a collection of songs "designed to evoke the feeling of awe and the yearning for adventure remembered from youth."

"It's still very much a Plain White T's album," Higgenson added. "The songs are sincere and melodic, no matter what the subject matter. We want to create an experience that takes our fans to an unexpected place while still giving them songs to sing along to."
