Los Angeles led by as many as 27 points in the fourth quarter and easily survived a late flurry by the Pistons.
Bryant reached the 30-point mark for the fourth time in five games, making 11 of 20 shots from the field and all eight of his free throws. Pau Gasol added 25 points and 12 rebounds and Lamar Odom had 15 points and 14 boards.
Los Angeles held a 55-41 advantage in rebounds and limited the Pistons to 39 percent shooting from the field.
Rodney Stuckey had 18 points for the Pistons, who have dropped two straight. The Lakers have won in each of their last three trips to Detroit.
