Blake among upset winners in Stockholm

Stockholm-- James Blake used a late break Tuesday in posting the third upset of the day in first-round play at the Stockholm Open tennis tournament in Sweden.

Blake posted only his second service break of the match in the ninth game of the third set but made it stand for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over seventh-seeded Thomaz Bellucci. Bellucci took the first set behind a pair of breaks but Blake saved all four of the break points he faced the rest of the way.

Sixth-seeded Feliciano Lopez and No. 8-seeded Tommy Robredo also fell Tuesday.
Robredo was dumped by qualifier Ivan Dodig 6-3, 6-2 in just 64 minutes. Dodig won 60 percent of the points in the match.

Florian Mayer needed just 56 minutes to oust Lopez, winning 6-2, 6-2 after losing only 12 points over eight service games.

Robin Haase took a 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 6-4 decision from Filip Prpic while Arnaud Clement beat Olivier Rochus 6-0, 6-4 and Benjamin Becker routed Thomas Schoorel 6-3, 6-0 in other matches.

Also, Taylor Dent advanced when Michal Pryzsiezny suffered an ankle injury with Dent up 6-2. That set up a match for Dent with top-seeded and world No. 2 Roger Federer.
