A statement issued by U.S. Soccer indicated the agreement will keep Bradley at the helm of the U.S. team through the end of 2014.
Bradley, 52, guided the United States to a first-place group finish at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa -- the first time in 80 years the U.S. team advanced that far.
Bradley led the U.S. team to a regional CONCACAF championship in 2007. He followed that up with the team's first final of a major FIFA tournament when the American squad reached the championship match of the 2009 Confederations Cup after a 2-0 victory in the semifinal against top-ranked Spain.
