Infante earns NL Player of Week award

Infante, 28, hit three home runs and scored nine times in seven games in the week ending Sunday. His .900 slugging percentage was best among all NL batters. He also had four multi-hit games and extended his hitting streak to 11 games.

It's the first time Infante has been picked for the weekly honor.

Milwaukee's Ryan Braun and Casey McGehee; Cincinnati's Jay Bruce, Brandon Phillips, and Bronson Arroyo; Washington's Ian Desmond; San Diego's Adrian Gonzalez and Jon Garland; the Chicago Cubs' Aramis Ramirez; the New York Mets' Jose Reyes and Johan Santana; Philadelphia's Jimmy Rollins and Roy Oswalt; St. Louis rookie Jaime Garcia and the Los Angeles Dodgers' Ted Lilly.
