It was the third start for Oswalt (7-13) since the Phillies acquired him in a trade with Houston and it was his first win for his new team. He gave up five hits, walked two and struck out five over seven innings, helping the Phillies win for the seventh time in nine games.
Philadelphia remained 2 1/2 games behind division-leading Atlanta in the National League East.
Ryan Madson and Brad Lidge each worked an inning of relief, with Lidge striking out two in a perfect ninth to pick up his 15th save.
A fielder's choice grounder by Domonic Brown drove in Philadelphia's first run in the fourth and Raul Ibanez doubled home the other in the sixth. Ibanez extended his hitting streak to 18 games.
Chad Billingsley (9-7) suffered the loss, giving up two runs on five hits in six innings. The Dodgers had won three in a row.
The teams combined for 13 hits after producing 32 of them Tuesday in a contest won by the Dodgers 15-9.
