Rezai, Dulko make Swedish Open finals

Bastad -- Aravane Rezai and Gisela Dulko each won in straight sets Friday and will meet in the finals of the Collector Swedish Open tennis tournament.

The second-seeded Rezai piled up six service breaks in a 6-3, 6-3 win over No. 3-seeded Lucie Safarova. Rezai dropped only 18 points on serve despite having her serve broken in three games.

Dulko, seeded fourth, knocked off No. 1-seed Flavia Pennetta 6-3, 6-1 in 73 minutes. Dulko had four service breaks and saved all eight of the break-point situations she faced. Pennetta saved 10 break-point situations in Thursday's quarterfinals and had to deal with 11 more Friday in the semis.

Dulko has won both times she previously played Rezai. Both players have three WTA titles in their career. Rezai's latest title came in this year's WTA stop in Spain. Dulko's most recent championship was more than two years ago in Morocco.
Saturday's tournament champion will take home $37,000 with the runner-up earning $19,000. Pennetta and Safarova each won $10,200 as semifinalists.
