Whole Food Market Wellington honors Phyllis Silk's artwork

Whole Foods Market Wellington will be honoring the work of a local Wellington artist and resident Phyllis Silk with an in-store exhibition at the store’s Cafe.

Interest residents can meet the artist at a celebration cum special reception on Sunday June 27 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The celebration party will include wine, appetizers prepared by Master Chef Chris Paul of Wild Orchid Fusion using Whole Foods Market’s all natural ingredients, and live music.

The celebration will include $10 as donation and the total amount collected during the event will be given to Silk's choice of charity, Luv-A-Bun Rabbit Rescue in Lake Worth.

Phyllis Silk is painting for last 30 years and her work includes portraits, still life and landscapes, with an emphasis on the abstract.

“The vibrancy of color in her works is eye catching and exudes warmth and fun throughout the entire café,” says Lauren Belinsky, spokesperson for Whole Foods Market Wellington, located at located at 2635 State Road 7.
