Ochoa announced last month she is retiring as a touring professional and asked that she be removed from the rankings. She slipped to No. 2 last week -- after 158 weeks at No. 1 -- behind Jiyai Shin.
This week's ranking reflect the first placements without Ochoa in the mix and as a result eight Top 10 golfers saw their positions improve. Shin remained No. 1 and Michelle Wie, at No. 8, were the only exceptions. Most of the changes were one spot, with Karrie Webb's move from ninth to seventh the lone exception there.
Ai Miyazato moved into the No. 2 spot with Yani Tseng in third, Suzann Pettersen fourth and Cristie Kerr fifth.
Anna Nordqvist is ranked No. 6, ahead of Webb and Wei while Choi Yeon-na is in ninth and Kim Kyung-in moves into the No. 10 position.
