The Suns shot under 40 percent from the field but benefited from a Trail Blazers scoring drought that lasted for almost 5 minutes.

Steve Nash had 17 points and eight assists and Jason Richardson scored 16 points for the Suns, who have won four straight.

Brandon Roy led Portland with 23 points. Andre Miller had 22 points and nine assists for the Trail Blazers, who had won five straight coming into the contest.
