Jankovic downs Wozniacki for BNP crown

Indian Wells -- No. 6 seed Jelena Jankovic had little trouble Sunday downing second-seeded Caroline Wozniacki in the finals of the BNP Paribas Open tennis event.

The Serb posted a straight-set 6-2, 6-4 win over her Danish opponent, raising her all-time record against Wozniacki to 4-0 while claiming her 11th career title and pocketing $700,000 in prize money at Indian Wells, Calif.

The title tilt took 1 hour, 24 minutes, and was Jankovic's first since winning in Cincinnati last year. She raised her all-time mark in finals to 12-10 with the victory.

Wozniacki fell to 6-7 all-time in finals.
