Report: O'Donnell eyeing new talk show

Los Angeles -- Actress Rosie O'Donnell is working on a new syndicated TV talk show to follow her work on U.S. series like "The View," Showbiz411.com reports.

The Hollywood Reporter said Friday, citing the Showbiz411.com report, that O'Donnell has paired with entertainment industry officials Dick Robertson and Scott Carlin to create a new talk show tabbed to debut in fall 2011.

Robertson is the former president of Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution, while Carlin once served as the head of HBO Domestic Distribution.

The Reporter said both men have ties to "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," which earned five consecutive best talk show Emmy awards during its six-year run.

The reported debut of the new talk show featuring O'Donnell would likely coincide with the final episodes of talk show mainstay, "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
