Tracy Morgan returning as 'Scare' host

New York -- Syfy says U.S. actor/comedian Tracy Morgan has signed on as host of the fourth season of its hidden-camera reality series, "Scare Tactics."

Morgan is one of the co-stars of the sitcom "30 Rock" and is a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member.

In addition to starring in "Scare Tactics," he will also serve as executive producer for the half-hour, 13-episode pickup order, Mark Stern, Syfy's executive vice president of original programming, announced this week.

The new episodes of "Scare Tactics" are to begin production this spring and are scheduled to premiere in the fall.

"We're ecstatic to be bringing back 'Scare Tactics' for another season to all our die-hard Syfy reality fans," Stern said in a statement. "Tracy has his finger on the pulse when it comes to comedy and having him on board as executive producer just adds another layer to the huge success of our show."

Morgan previously served as host of the series during Season 3. The show was previously presided over by Shannen Doherty and Stephen Baldwin.
