Julianne Moore returning to 'Turns'

New York -- Hollywood film star Julianne Moore is to return to TV's "As the World Turns" where she played Frannie and Sabrina Hughes from 1985-88, CBS said Thursday.

Moore won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the soap opera in 1988.

Since then, she has appeared in dozens of high-profile films such as "Benny & Joon," "Boogie Nights," "The Big Lebowski," "Nine Months," "An Ideal Husband," "Far From Heaven," "The Hours," "Hannibal" and "A Single Man."

She is to reprise her role of Frannie Hughes, who returns to Oakdale to celebrate her father and stepmother's wedding anniversary, on the April 5 episode of "As the World Turns," CBS said.
